My name is Sara DeBonis and I am a dedicated and compassionate therapist with a deep commitment to helping individuals overcome challenges and lead more fulfilling, balanced lives. My approach to therapy is rooted in empathy, respect, and a belief in each person’s unique potential for growth and healing. I am currently working toward earning my Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) certification and am privileged to provide therapeutic support under supervision.
My experience spans working with a wide variety of clients, including children, adolescents, and adults, each facing different life challenges. I’ve had the opportunity to work in a variety of clinical settings, including schools, Intensive Behavioral Health Services (IBHS), and community-based programs. These experiences have shaped my ability to connect with people and allow me to provide tailored care that addresses individual needs with sensitivity and Respect.
In my work as a therapist, I take an integrative approach, blending evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and humanistic psychology. I believe in the power of building a strong therapeutic relationship, where clients feel safe, heard, and empowered to make meaningful changes in their lives.
