Will is a Master’s Level Counselor with experience providing mental health services to children, adolescents, and older adults from diverse backgrounds and communities. Throughout his career, he has supported clients through individual counseling, group therapy, case management, and collaboration on multidisciplinary treatment teams, particularly in school and community-based settings.
Will enjoys working with children and adolescents, helping younger clients build emotional awareness, develop healthy coping skills, and navigate challenges at home, in school, and in their relationships. He understands that growth often happens within relationships and believes that strengthening family systems can create lasting change. Because of this, he values working collaboratively with parents and caregivers when appropriate, helping families better understand and support their child’s emotional and developmental needs.
He approaches therapy using elements of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Person Centered Therapy, and Positive Psychology. At the heart of his work is the belief that each client is the expert in their own life, and his role is to provide guidance, support, and practical tools along the way.
Will has had the privilege of supporting children and teens as they navigate academic pressures, identity development, emotional regulation, peer relationships, and future planning. He also deeply values his work with older adults, helping them find meaning, fulfillment, and peace while navigating life transitions and mental health challenges later in life. He believes that empathy, collaboration, and a strong therapeutic relationship are essential to meaningful healing and personal growth.
He takes a trauma informed approach to therapy, recognizing how past experiences can shape present thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. Will works to meet clients where they are and adapts his approach to best support their individual needs. Drawing from his specialization in Drug and Alcohol Counseling, he incorporates motivational strategies and practical interventions to empower clients to take meaningful steps toward change. His goal is to help clients better understand themselves, process the impact of trauma, and develop the skills needed to move toward the version of themselves they most want to become.
